#1159 Cache plug-in data The dnGrep plug-ins for PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Open Document, and other file types extract text from the document for searching. The extracted text has been discarded after use which means multiple searches must re-extract the text each time. With this new feature, the extracted text files can be cached for reuse, greatly improving the performance of additional searches. See the Options dialog, Plug-in cache section for the new settings. The default location for the cache files is in the Windows temp folder, but you can set a location of your choice. Another option will remove unused files (based on last accessed time) from the cache after an optional number of days. There were many changes to add this feature, please create an issue if you see any problems.
#1163 View Whitespace Added a new checkbox to the Preview pane to view spaces, tabs and end of line characters.
#1164 Byte search in archives Fixed a bug to do byte (hex) searches on files in archives.
#1166 Case sensitive MRU Fixed a bug where most recently used lists for Search and Replace on the dnGrep main window would not store case sensitive versions of the same strings and always revert to the case of the original string.
